Description
Fire Dragon is one of the ‘Dragon Paintings’ that I created. These paintings are about the symbolism of fire and what it holds for us in our lives. Like water, fire demands our respect for not only can it be constructive but it can equally be destructive.
In the land of Myth, dragons are very much associated with the element of fire for they are breathing creatures. Here is a verse that came to me when I completed the ‘Dragon Painting’.
In my darkest hour she comes,
Breathing fire into my soul,
Knowing that I,
Have died to an old way of life
And a new one has not yet begun,
Having burned away all what’s not needed anymore,
Her fiery breath
Ignites a spark within me,
Creating passion and excitement
As I emerge.
